I'm mostly excited about continuing to be the quality city that I knew in 1966. We've seen it grow to a more vibrant, more exciting growing city. Because people have found this gem in Noblesville, Indiana, probably the rate of growth will increase as the years go by.
I think it's a mix of things, it's almost a perfect storm of development. A heritage of things coming together in our community. You can't do it in a single word you couldn't do it in a sentence. But there certainly is a feeling in our community, there is a presence that you can feel in the people of the community. Noblesville is special and unique and different than a lot of other places and provides opportunities for people to do things here that you couldn't do in other communities.
It's a lot more alive than Muncie is. It's got more going on. And there seems to be more people, more traffic, more everything.
Lots of growth in this area. Lots of growth. New houses, new stores, new places to shop, new restaurants. It's just, this is a big place. Everybody… it's a dynamic place to live, north part of Indy.
We're 40,000 people, and I don't think that we're small. We're again a larger, not large, but larger, vibrant city.
So many things are going on in the community, we're a dynamic community, one of the fastest growing communities in the nation. For our size, the fastest growing community in the state of Indiana. A tremendous school system, a rich heritage, combined with that new growth. I mean it just really is a dynamic community in which to be in.
But our people are our biggest asset. People who love their community which includes obviously the schools, our square, the recreational facilities, our park is a great asset. We were recently identified as the 10th Best Place in the United States to raise a family. And I think we're providing and will provide in the future the environment, the infrastructure, to keep it a viable, and diverse community. I have no question in my mind about that.
Everything that has happened at this point is a foundation for the things that are gonna happen in the future, and our future is bright and exciting.
I guess I'd just like to say that I just hope as years go by, people love Noblesville as much as I do, that they enjoy working, raising their family here and could just have the quality of life that I've been able to have for the last 40 years of the city of Noblesville.
